Ditty’s Sweater

Made this for Ditty.  My second completed sweater in one year’s time.  I’ve made other sweaters before, but not for a long time because I dislike sewing seams.  This was knit using Elizabeth Zimmermann’s  Fair Isle Yoke Sweater pattern from her book Knitting Around.

Quotes:

"Private prayer is like straw scattered here and there: If you set it on fire, it makes a lot of little flames. But gather these straws into a bundle and light them, and you get a mighty fire, rising like a column into the sky; public prayer is like that."

St. Jean Marie Baptiste Vianney
Cure d'Ars
