I was looking for a way to simplify what I do in the kitchen. Now don’t get me wrong, I love to cook-I just hate trying to figure out what to make for supper every night. So I went to a class a few years ago on freezer cooking. There, I learned about make ahead meals and menu planning. I purchased The Freezer Cooking Manual From 30 Day Gourmet and have been cooking this way ever since. The planning tools in the manual were a great help to me and having 100’s of recipes just a mouse click away was an inspiration. The message boards on their website (www.30daygourmet.com) are a great help with questions. I’ve adapted our favorite recipes using the information from the book and even created new ones. The Freezer Cooking Manual is my favorite cookbook, it has certainly helped tame the “What’s for dinner?” frenzy at our house.
