Thanks for the memories

Changed the theme on my page today.  Hey, this blogging thing isn’t so hard-lol.  DH & I went to see Wicked the Musical on Sunday for my birthday.  It was fantastic.  It had it’s dark parts like the book did but it also had some hilariously funny parts like when Boq brings Nessa a glass of punch and she asks him what’s in it “Peaches and Nectarines and Pears” to which Nessa replies “Oh My!”.  Loved the L. Frank Baum jokes.  Just finished reading The Last Lecture.  Very good book and one everyone should read-lots of good life lessons and reminders that the most important things in our lives aren’t really “things” at all.

Middle child was picked for the part of Narrator One in their class production of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol .  This is good as she needs to get over her fear of being on stage.  We have no plans to push her into anything with regards to movies, plays or television, she just needs to develop more confidence in herself and her abilities.

"If you are what you should be you will set the whole world on fire."
St. Catherine of Sienna

I finally understand

"Among those around you, apostolic soul, you are the stone fallen into the lake. With your word and your example, you produce a first circle, and it another, and another, and another, wider each time. Now do you understand the greatness of your mission?" St. Josemarie Escriva: The Way
